Reliability and longevity
A new casting technology which has been developed by Kubota for their engine blocks has resulted in reduction of the average operational temperature during heavy duty operation. This evolution combined with the Nanni Diesel marinization increases longevity and reliability, while still employing timing gears rather than a timing belt which results in significantly decreased maintenance time and cost. Moreover, the SOLAS (Save Our Lifes At Sea) certification serves as additional proof of the Nanni Diesel technical know-how applying the most stringent safety standards currently in effect for lifeboats to this engine.

A complete range of electrical generators developed by Nanni Diesel enables the N3.30 to supply all the electricity required for comfort equipment and electronic navigation devices on board.
